SPEND WITHOUT GUILT................

Bookmark and Share

It is wise to save. But sometimes you need to let the money go, get some fun in return.
Here are some doable suggestions we can try…………
·
Calculate the average spend per month of your family, to the last detail as far as possible and match it to your earnings.
·         If your leftover money is 100 and your bank balance is zero, and you have 20 to 25 years of work life ahead of you , then there are some doable ways to work out on it -

1.       Rupees 50 should be invested in safe ventures such as fixed deposits, monthly income schemes or children’s  education funds( best to start when your baby’s  just arrived); and  in a medical insurance policy.
2.       Rupees25 should be invested in something that gives you pleasure and is also an investment, for instance jewelry or any sort of art. But for this saving is needed for few months but this would be a focused, short term saving.
3.       Left Rupees25 can be spending in areas that may not give you anything tangible in return but boost your feel good quotient. A good idea is to fix at least one family eat out per weak.

There may come a time where you are faced with a crisis, and of course more the savings, better your chances for dealing with the problem. But wouldn’t be unfortunate to live life in half measure…..??
